Peace through recycled nuclear weapons
|
The Peace Symbol was created in 1958 for the Committee for Nuclear Disarmament in Great Britain. It has become the universal symbol of peace, embraced and understood in every culture. It is a combination of the semaphores for the letters "N" and "D", standing for "Nuclear Disarmament." The peace sign jewelry offered by From War to Peace is the first time that the Peace Symbol of nuclear disarmament is actually created from disarmed and recycled nuclear weapons. Originally designed by Gerald Holtom.
Three (3) Metal Finishes: Peace bronze, Gold and Silver
Two (2) Sizes:

All of our peace jewelry is made from Peace Bronze - Jewelry from recycled and disarmed nuclear missile systems.
If you're buying a cheap peace symbol made in china, it doesn't carry the same meaning as the Peace Bronze peace symbol. This is the only peace symbol in the world that walks the talk, made in the USA and created using the very concept it was intended for.
From War to Peace is a green company that recycles copper from disarmed nuclear missile systems to create Peace Bronze, the most precious metal in our world. We use it to make glorious art and jewelry for those who share our commitment to a world without war. We recycle everything, making the old newly useful. Our silver and gold-plated pieces are created entirely from recycled metals. Our printed paper is all recycled. All plastics we use are biodegradable. Our Peace Bronze itself is recycled from missile system cabling. From War to Peace is a uniquely American company. Local artisans turn it into jewelry and art objects here in the U.S.A.
