We send 20% of the sales of these earrings direct to Peace Corps and the National Peace Corps Association.  The NPCA is the nation's largest non-profit dedicated to supporting the Peace Corps Community and its legacy.

The Peace Corps' mission has three simple goals:
 1. Helping the people of interested countries in meeting their need for trained men and women,
 2. Helping promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served, and
 3. Helping promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.

Gold filled is exactly opposite of what it sounds like. Jewelry that is "gold filled" has a solid layer of gold covering brass. It is approximately 10,000 times thicker than regular gold plating and takes about 30 years to wear through. Individuals with metal allergy's are not usually affected by gold filled products.
